Clarks, shoemakers since 1825, is opening it’s first European Clarks originals brand store in Amsterdam, the 9 streets area. This area is known for its cosy and cool stores and restaurants based in authentic old houses of Amsterdam surrounded by the famous canals, a place very suitable to the Clarks originals brand. The store shows the same design principles as the Clarks originals products by using real materials, like mitred plywood and white steel, clear shapes and simple design mixed with graphical elements. The colours used are referring to the colours shared by the Clarks originals logo and the Union Jack. The result is a contemporary design.
